Secure owl post to Severus Snape, Headmaster, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Professor Snape,

I believe we were sent school letters and the change in the Hogwarts Express schedule by mistake. However, if the children are welcome to return to Hogwarts, I have concerns.

I do not think Klara informed you at your gathering of the death of her brother, Nestor. Fenrir Greyback attacked our home after leaving the challenge field and killed him. Among others killed was the woman who had been caring for the children. Jacek suffered a broken collar bone and a concussion in the attack, while Klara and the other children were present and witnessed all of this.

I will not send Klara and Jacek to Hogwarts on the Express tomorrow. It is too tempting a target. Fenrir will seek to hurt the pack again and he is a fearless and reckless fighter with nothing to lose. None of the children under your care are safe if any are at risk. And I cannot allow the children to return at all if Hogwarts is not prepared for Fenrir. Nor if they are to be punished for their connection to him. They were no part of the war and have suffered enough for it already.

Klara insists she wishes to return to school, and Jacek has agreed that if she goes, he will go also.

Edmund Lowell
